My black bear pictures were taken in Minnesota. Most of them were taken at the Vince Shutte Wildlife Sanctuary. Although those black bears are habituated to people, they are still wild. Taking photos of black bears in an unfenced environment on their turf was fun, but a little nerve wracking.
Finally, my Canadian grizzly bear pictures were taken in British Columbia's Knight Inlet area. I didn't get the opportunity to take photos of grizzly bear cubs, but I hope you enjoy my grizzly bear photos.

I got a kick out of this brown bear video. If you watch, about half way through, two brown bear cubs are fighting for the best nursing spot. Competition begins early in the animal kingdom!
